Inclusive Christmas at La Caravelle in Marseille
Christmas, the family, the endless meals, the reunions. Whether by choice or otherwise, this year you can celebrate Christmas differently, in Marseille. Welcome to La Caravelle ! Warmth, conviviality and good food await you. It is also an opportunity to give you a few “inclusive” ideas…you can be Father Christmas!
Christmas is about helping those in need. You can make a donation to the Fondation de France , which organises solidarity gatherings throughout France. The aim is to encourage diversity and to offer sick and/or isolated people a chance to do something social.
You can also turn to the Marseille branch of Secours Populaire , which annually organises the Green Santas ! Throughout the month of December, volunteers don green caps and collect new toys and funds in order to give presents and organise cultural outings, ski holidays, entertainment, snacks and traditional Christmas and New Year gatherings. The sponsor of this year’s campaign is the comic actor Jamel Debbouze.
Finally, you can also volunteer hours to Restos du Coeur or join the Petits Frères des Pauvres , who needs a helping hand for their Christmas gathering.
