Spring skiing in Chamonix
Socosy in and out
Do you want to enjoy the sunshine and the pleasure of the slopes? Then head for Chamonix and check into the Jeu de Paume hotel in Lavancher for a spring ski trip that is the ultimate when it comes to comfort.
Yes, you can even pack your bags and head to Chamonix to ski in April. The resort is also one of the top 15 destinations for skiing in spring. The valley of Chamonix is a wonderful spot to enjoy exceptional snow! The ski area is divided into 4 zones: Les Grands Montets, Brévent/Flégère, Domaine de Balme and Les Houches. Only the Grands Montets ski zone is open until 4 May. You can ski next to glaciers in your swimming trunks. We’re not even exaggerating!
Ski, sun and culture
The resort of Chamonix offers you package rates until the beginning of May. Among the many passes that are offered, if you want to have fun playing sport and exploring, use the “Cham’Val” that allows free access to the ice rink, swimming pool and museums in Chamonix. The programme includes the indoor and outdoor ice rink in Chamonix, and that of Les Houches, the Museum of the Mountains, the Alpine Museum or the Maison de l’Alpage. The good news with skiing in spring is that it makes sense to enjoy the afternoon: walking, taking city tours, whiling away the hours on a terrace and listening to music, or returning to the Jeu de Paume hotel for a well-deserved sauna and an escape to the botanical garden cultivated by the chef Eric de Ganck.
